YMCA OF METRO DETROIT SHAPES UP FOR SPRING

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE -What happens when an organization whose business it is to get people in shape gets out of shape itself? That was the recent situation at the thirteen locations of the YMCA of Metro Detroit. According to Facility Maintenance Supervisor Ed Williams, "Our buildings were falling down faster than we could fix them." Like an out-of-shape athlete, the YMCA's maintenance management system struggled to keep up, with unfortunate results -- cold swimming areas, overheated gymnasiums, dissatisfied members, and frustrated employees.
