GETTING “BEST MAINTENANCE PRACTICES” FROM YOUR COMPUTERIZED MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

A Two-Day Seminar at Britannia Country House Hotel
Manchester, England
13 - 14 September, 2005

Answering the question: “I’ve got a CMMS but how do I get useful information from it?"

Your CMMS implementation is only as valuable as your understanding of its power to support your maintenance and reliability goals. Leverage your CMMS investment – or, if you’re just considering implementing a CMMS, understand its potential – by attending this powerful and practical two-day workshop.

For two days, you’ll immerse yourself in thoroughly understanding the benefits – and in developing practical, action-oriented approaches for implementing the elements – of a world-class CMMS in your organisation. You’ll start by building a strong foundation of the definitions, elements and objectives of a world-class CMMS implementation. You’ll leave with a complete understanding of the role a CMMS plays in the overall success of your maintenance organisation, as well as the specific potential benefits of tracking equipment breakdowns, labour costs and other metrics.

This workshop is practical, using information intensive examples rather than abstract theories to illustrate the entire range of facility and equipment information that should be captured in your CMMS, along with the purposes and specific applications for these data items. You’ll also learn about the modules and/or applications included in most standard CMMS programs and benefit from logically-sequenced training on how to use each module to improve the overall performance of your CMMS implementation.

Your instructor, Dave Bertolini, Director of Maintenance Strategies for Ashcom Technologies, Inc., brings more than 30 years of experience in maintenance and maintenance training to this interactive workshop. Whether you’re a Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Planner or someone else involved in a current or future CMMS implementation, Dave’s experience and practical knowledge will benefit you and your organisation.

No matter what stage of CMMS implementation your organisation is in – whether you’re just beginning the CMMS selection process and are looking for a “non-sales” explanation of the potential benefits or you’re a long-term user who requires a maintenance-oriented perspective on ways to significantly improve your implementation – this workshop will leave you with a wealth of practical information you can use immediately.
