Work Order Interface for Personal Digital Assistants
The most common function used on Mobile MaintiMizer CMMS is for work orders. This interface allows the user to select work orders on Mobile MaintiMizer CMMS in real time (if wireless) or batch (if Active Sync). The user then can scan bar-coded part numbers, which attaches the part(s) to the work order. As the user goes about the required tasks, they may log in notes regarding the repairs, as well as the amount of hours worked. Next, the work order can be closed and the next one can be selected. The real time function updates the work orders and the parts/stores room quantities will also be adjusted with any parts that have been withdrawn. Any new work orders that are opened on the fly will be assigned the next number in queue and the data will be saved accordingly.
Inventory Interface for Personal Digital Assistant
The next step in assigning and tracking your parts is with the process described below: Place employee and work order number in their respective fields, then scan the part number you wish to use, stock room youve taken it from, location within that stock room, quantity and finally the account number to charge it against. The interface also provides the ability to print bar code labels for identifying and scanning your inventory parts, for use with an Intermec 3400 bar code printer.

Physical/Cycle Count Inventory Interface for Personal Digital Assistants
Inventory physical/cycle count interface can save your staff from hand writing the quantities for each part on file. The user would operate a PDA equipped with a laser scanner and scan the stock room and location. Next, scan the part number and then count the actual parts on hand. After that, the operator would move on to the next part and so forth until all the parts are scanned in. The actual values (what you counted) will be reported against what was indicated in the system. You have the option then to print out this report and adjust your inventory stockroom values according to the cycle count. The interface also provides the ability to print bar code labels for identifying and scanning your inventory parts, for use with an Intermec 3400 bar code printer
