This overview is intended to expose the student to not only the features and functions of the computerized maintenance management system, but also the logic and reasoning behind the design. In addition, the need for data standard development and process improvement will be explored to demonstrate how MaintiMizer is dependent upon and supportive of these two critical issues. Overviews are not sales pitches, and should be viewed as the first step in the software education process. This will help you identify realistic expectations and help you determine the most beneficial application of the software. This is not a hands-on, computer operations class. While the system will certainly be navigated for you throughout the day, time limitations do not allow for individual access to the program if all the content is to be covered. Overviews should be attended by everyone, simply to understand the capabilities, potential, theory, structure and limitations of the software. Hands on computer training, comes next.
